Sights

Tukums Castle Tower is a surviving fragment of the town’s oldest building and former Livonian Order castle. Construction is thought to have begun in 1277. The tower later served as a prison and granary in the eighteenth century, and now houses the Tukums town history museum.

Church

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church dates to 1644 and has a tower lookout. Together, these two landmarks connect the town’s civic story with its religious architecture.
