At Maihaugen, timber farmsteads, town houses and a stave church trace five centuries of Norwegian life.
Living history
At Maihaugen, timber farmsteads, town houses, and a stave church show Norwegian life across five centuries. The open-air museum sits above the town, with buildings gathered from across the region.
Olympic hillside
The Lysgårdsbakkene Ski Jumping Arena, built for the 1994 Winter Olympics, remains a landmark above the Mjøsa valley. Its viewing platform looks over the lake and the long main street below.
