Stephen’s Tower rises beside St John the Baptist Church, above the lanes of the old town.
Estimated journey times
The Princely Court dates to the reign of Stephen the Great, whose 15th-century residence shaped the town’s historic core. Beside it, Stephen’s Tower rises above the church of St John the Baptist. The square links these monuments with lanes of older houses and views toward the Bistrița River.
The Cozla Hill overlooks the rooftops and the wooded edge of the Carpathians. Its paths and lookout points offer a clear sense of the valley setting; geological layers and fossil-rich rocks connect the slope with collections at the Natural Sciences Museum in town.
