Masia Freixa’s white parabolic arches give the former textile building a striking modernist outline.

The Seu d’Ègara complex brings together the churches of Sant Pere, Sant Miquel and Santa Maria on an early Christian site. Their layers of architecture and wall paintings span late antiquity through the Middle Ages. Nearby, Vallparadís Castle and Charterhouse holds the Terrassa Museum’s local-history displays.
Masia Freixa, designed by Lluís Muncunill, transforms a former textile building into a white modernist residence with parabolic arches. In the Parc de Sant Jordi, it reflects the city’s textile wealth, also interpreted at the National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia in the former Aymerich, Amat i Jover factory.
