From the Fire Tower, look out over Main Square and spot Roman foundations beneath its Baroque dome.
Estimated journey times
The Fire Tower gathers several periods in one landmark: Roman foundations, a medieval cylindrical core, a Renaissance balcony and a Baroque dome. Its Loyalty Gate opens onto Main Square, where the Goat Church and historic houses form a compact architectural ensemble.
The Museum Quarter links the Storno House, General’s House and Fabricius House with the tower. Nearby, the Old Synagogue preserves an unusually clear division between men’s and women’s spaces, offering another view of the town’s layered history.
