The Torre de l’Aigua is a 50-metre octagonal water tower built in 1922 to lift water from wells beside the Ripoll River and distribute it through the town. Its open structure and elevated tank make it a distinctive example of early 20th-century utility architecture. The Ripoll river corridor preserves traces of Sabadell’s industrial growth.
Textile wealth shaped the city’s modernist houses, including the Casa Duran, a late-16th-century residence, and later centre buildings. The Sabadell Art Museum occupies the former Casa Turull, a merchant residence, and presents local art collections. Walk between the museum and the tower to connect industrial engineering with the civic culture it supported.
