Beneath the Market Square, the Rzeszów Cellars wind through medieval underground passages.
Estimated journey times
The Rzeszów Cellars form an underground route beneath the Market Square and historic tenements. Vaulted chambers reveal how merchants stored goods and expanded their cellars over time. Back above ground, the square’s Town Hall anchors the old centre.
The Lubomirski Castle and its bastion fortifications stand just beyond the centre. Together with the cellars, they show how trade, private power, and defense shaped the town’s historic core.
