A modern pedestrian bridge over Žeimių Street makes a distinctive landmark on a walk through town.
By the Neris
Jonava stands on the Neris, and riverside paths bring the water close to the town centre. A modern pedestrian-and-cycle bridge over Žeimių Street is a distinctive piece of contemporary architecture and a useful landmark for exploring on foot.
Local stories and crafts
The Jonava Regional Museum presents local history and ethnoculture, with exhibitions and traditional craft activities. The town’s past as a busy grain and horse-trading centre is part of a longer story shaped by its river crossing and market routes.
