Gutman’s Cave is the largest grotto cave in the Baltic states, with wall inscriptions dating to the seventeenth century. Local legend connects it with the story of the Turaida Rose. Above the ancient Gauja River valley, Sigulda Castle Quarter is another city landmark.
The Three Castles route links Sigulda with Krimulda and Turaida. Krimulda and Turaida are places on the route beyond Sigulda, not sights within the city.
