The Heikkilä Local History Museum occupies a former farmstead, with a main house dating from the late 18th century and outbuildings gathered around a green yard. Its interiors show the life of a prosperous Finnish farm from the mid-1800s into the 1930s. The wooded grounds offer a quiet pause near the town centre.
At Art and Museum Centre Sinkka, exhibitions connect contemporary art with local cultural history and industrial design. Its name refers to a wooden dovetail joint, a fitting image for a centre that brings several collections together. The railway station and nearby streets link these cultural stops to Helsinki’s northern commuter corridor.
