Walk Remich’s Moselle esplanade beneath the vineyard slopes and look across the river.
Remich curves along the Moselle, with a riverside esplanade below slopes planted with vineyards. The promenade offers a clear view across the river toward Germany and the wine-growing landscape. Just uphill, the decanal church has a tower built on foundations dating to the Roman period and adapted as a watchtower in the 12th century.
The church tower looks toward Park Brill, a green space with a pond near the centre. Vineyards surround the town like an amphitheatre, linking the waterfront to Luxembourg’s Moselle wine region. The short walk between river, church and park captures Remich’s compact geography.
