The Museum of Třinec Ironworks and the City of Třinec presents the story of a settlement transformed by steel production. Its industrial collections place local work within the history of the region, while the ironworks remain a defining part of the town’s landscape. In the centre, WERK ARENA is a modern multipurpose venue and home ground of the local hockey club.
The town lies in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids, whose wooded slopes rise beyond the built-up valley. Nearby Javorový Mountain is a familiar landmark for walking and winter sports. Together, the arena, industrial heritage and mountain setting offer a clear portrait of a working town shaped by both steel and its surrounding landscape.
